Welcome to Year 2!
Mrs Clough and Mrs Macintosh
Everybody Every Night!
Home reading is an essential part of your child's learning. Remember to read at home every night. Please write a comment and note the pages they have read. We recommend at least 5 pages a night!
If your child has a Lexia log in, please ensure they are using this at home as well as at school.
Please ensure your child has a full Grange Park P.E. kit that is clearly labelled with their name. We recommend that children leave their P.E kit in school until half term. This means your child is always prepared for any spontaneous sporting activities.
Children will receive Power Literacy and Power Maths homework every Monday. This should be returned by the Friday of the same week. Please note this homework will be set by your child's Power Literacy and Power Maths teachers.
Year 2 can sit their SATs throughout the month of May. Children will complete two maths and two reading papers. It is important to ensure that your child is on school, on time, everyday to ensure they do not miss any learning.
If you would like any further information, please access the below link for official guidance for parents.
As of Monday 2nd July, the children will be moving in to their new classes.
