Sunderland Young Achievers' Awards
We have lots to celebrate at Grange Park this week. We had four of our children attend the Sunderland Young Achievers' Awards. School nominated: Riley (Y5), Freya (Y5), Rubie (Y4), Tommy-Joe (Y6) and Mia-Rose (Y6 last year) for a number of achievements including bravery, talent and positive contributions to their communities.
Well done to all of the children that attended and congratulations to Riley and Mia, who won their award category. Another proud moment for our lovely school.
Now in their 30th year, the Sunderland Young Achievers Awards celebrate the achievements of children and young people between 8 and 20 years old, recognising their bravery, talent and positive contributions to their communities.
The awards are open to anyone aged 8 to 20 years living in Sunderland, Washington, Houghton and Hetton. Award categories include Personal Achievement, Service to the Community, Service to the Environment, Peer Award, Young Carer, Young Apprentice, Sport, and Music and Performing Arts.
Our Sunderland Young Achievers' Award 2022 took place on Friday 30 September 2022 at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland.
